UAP aim to improve window safety!

Each year according to ROSPA (the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents), 4,000 children under the age of 15 fall out of opened windows each year! You can help protect your customers from this happening with the very effective and very affordable window restrictor from UAP!

The window restrictor can be used on all types of windows and doors including uPVC, composite, aluminium, wooden and metal profiles. The 20cm hardened steel long cable restricts the opening of the window or door to under 100mm. This not only prevents children being able to fit through the gap, but is small enough to prevent intruders being able to use the gap in the window to gain unauthorised entry into a property. The hard to cut hardened steel cable further protects properties.

The latest addition to our window restrictor range consists of the same features as our standard lockable window restrictor except for one major feature. Our new range boasts a handy push to lock feature. The cable is locked in place by simply pushing the mechanism into place without the need of a key.

The window can be opened fully by simply unlocking it using the key supplied. As it is lockable, it is possible to possible to fit the UAP lockable window restrictor on fire escape windows, provided that the user keeps the key within easy reach.
