New Storm Door Kits From UAP America

UAP America are now providing new Storm Door kits with the USA’s most popular Kwikset KW1 and Schlage SC1 keyways.

In America, many exterior access doors have a storm door installed in front of them for ventilation purposes and protection against bad weather. Storm doors are generally fitted with a euro-style cylinder that requires a different key to the exterior access door, which is often lost or not used.

Designed to replace storm door euro cylinders, the UAP Storm Door Kit thumbturn euro cylinder can be easily re-pinned to exterior access door locks using the existing key and re-pinning kit, offering homeowners a one-key solution. The UAP America Storm Door Kit can also be used as a standard re-pinning kit for other existing KW1 and SC1 locks, including the UAP America Thumbturn Euro Cylinders.

Features include:

• A stadium thumbturn end
• Available in two overall sizes 55mm (2 11/16th inches) or 62mm (2 7/16th inches)
• 5 pins
• Supplied with pins, springs, end caps and an Allen key for easy re-pinning
• Not supplied with a key as the cylinder can be re-pinned to existing Kwikset KW1 or Schlage SC1 keys
• Available as a KW1 (Kwikset) keyway or a SC1 (Schlage) keyway
• Available in a brass or
  chrome finish.
