UAP Celebrate 25 Years with Secured by Design: A Milestone in Safety and Crime Prevention

We’re excited to announce a visit from Hazel, Development Officer of Secured by Design (SBD), to present us with a 25th Anniversary Award. As part of the official police security initiative run by the UK Police Service, SBD has been at the forefront of reducing crime for decades. The award highlights our commitment to building safer environments through our accredited products.

What is Secured by Design?
SBD is the only police-recognized standard in the UK for security-related products. By adhering to the Police Preferred Specification, SBD-certified products are rigorously tested and approved by independent bodies accredited by the UK Accreditation Service (UKAS) or its European equivalent. These products offer enhanced protection against crime while contributing to environmental sustainability.
