UAP Invests in Life Saving Defibrillators

UAP have chosen to invest in a set of defibrillators at our work premises at Whitefield and Radcliffe. Defibrillators help to protect against Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA), which is a leading cause of death in the UK, affecting around 700,000 individuals each year, according to the Resuscitation Council.

Both machines are registered on the heartsafe.org.uk website. By adding our AED we are making all Public Access Defibrillators (PADs) easy to locate throughout the UK.

These devices can save lives in an emergency, so it’s very important that they’re available and in working order across the country.
