Local Bolton restaurant Casalingo receiving our PPE

Before the Christmas holidays, we decided to donate PPE to local organisations that need it. We reached out to several local businesses, schools, and charities with the offer of free face masks and other protective equipment, so that they can operate safely through the winter months.

Local primary schools All Saints C of E and Whitefield Primary School received masks, hand sanitisers, visors and gloves for children and teachers as schools remained open to students at the end of 2020.

Hard working charities including Coffee 4 Craig, Barnabus, and Lifeshare also received boxes of UAP’s protective gear to help them continue the work that they do for our local community.

UAP’S PPE

UAP have been producing our own PPE throughout the pandemic, including a range of face masks, protective gloves, hand sanitisers, visors, and more, using our own production resources. We now have a large resource of PPE available to us that we both sell via ppreguarantee.co.uk and provide our own staff with as they work onsite. Not every company and organisation is so lucky to have easy access to PPE though, and as there is such high demand, prices are at an all-time high. This is why we wanted to do our bit for the community and donate what we can spare – we will always be a socially responsible company who like to give back.
