Every letter plate and fire resistant door viewer uses top of the range intumescent and letter plates have heat absorbing washers for even higher performance.

Kerafix Flexpress 100, which is used on our letter plates and fire resistant viewers, is an intumescent which is activated at 140°c – that’s 5 degrees lower than any other intumescent available. This means the intumescent starts working earlier and seals the gaps faster so less smoke can get through the door.

Like the intumescent every material used is carefully considered and hand-picked – especially on fire resistant products as those materials have such an important job to do. Every aspect of a products design is well thought out and we test everything extensively to guarantee results.

We have a complete range of fire resistant products. Our aluminium, stainless steel and Framemaster letter plates are 1 hour fire rated and also Secured by Design approved – as are our 14mm fire resistant door viewers. Our range also includes 30 minute Certifire approved aluminium and stainless steel letter plates.

All of the UAP Fire Resistant Letter Plates use heat absorbing washers which attach to the metal fittings. This patented system stops the hot metal fixing bolts from melting the plastic frame, which keeps the letter plate intact for much longer.
