The proof is in the testing

All of the door viewers in UAP’s range have undergone evaluation to DHF TS 002:2009, the Door and Hardware Federation technical standard.

They were tested on their ability to resist corrosion, where each viewer was subjected to a neutral salt spray test. All of the products showed none or just minor corrosion meaning they passed to an excellent standard. The products were able to withstand being subjected to 96 hours of sea salt spraying without corroding.

All of the door viewers we sell have had to undergo relentless testing, we want to be sure what we are selling is only the best. The door viewers are high security, and designed to last which is reflected in the results that show they can withstand extreme conditions.

When tested on their resistance to mist the door viewers proved they were able to evade misting after enduring 72 hours of cyclic humidity to BS 3900 –F2; 1973. They were re-tested on their visibility immediately after being subjected to the humidity test and still showed distinct visual clarity.

Their ability to clear after misting has been proven and tested to be unprecedented. After the humidity test the viewers were left in 30 degrees Celsius for 72 hours in order to dry out. After this they were retested to see how well they managed to clear up. All of the viewers showed the same standard of clarity as before they were subjected to humidity and showed no sign of deterioration – proving that they will withstand every season and temperature.
