UAP Supplies Free PPE to Staff on Return to Work

The UK has identified growing hotspots of COVID-19 in various areas of Greater Manchester and Lancashire, including Rochdale, Oldham, Blackburn, Darwen and Bolton. Furthermore, COVID-19 cases in the Greater Manchester area primarily originated and continue to appear in Bury, the area in which UAP Limited are based. Due to these concerns, UAP Limited CEO David Jennings has made the decision to introduce mandatory PPE use to staff and visitors onsite at all times, and this PPE will be provided for free by UAP itself.

The PPE offered to staff and visitors will include face masks and/or face visors. Gloves and hand sanitisers are also always available onsite. New guidelines for visiting the offices and warehouse have also been laid out as some staff are being given the option to come back to work in phases, which include keeping all doors closed to prevent entrance of unverified people, and continuing to maintain social distancing and proper hygiene.
