UAP ‘Invest in People’

We are extremely proud to announce that we have been awarded the prestigious Investors in People Accreditation – showing excellence in people management and a high performing workplace.

Statistics show 60% of people in the UK are unhappy in their jobs – but we don’t want that to be the case at UAP!

The Investors in People community includes over 15,000 businesses, spread across more than 75 countries. They display the qualities of a great employer and outperforming work place and UAP will now join this prestigious list.

Nothing but business as usual

As a company we did nothing but business as usual in getting the accreditation, and our aims to provide an environment where staff are happy, enjoy their work and feel part of a family seems to have paid off.

The biggest asset of any company is its staff and we invest and continually support and train ours.

By meeting the Investors in People Standard a company is demonstrating the best practices in leadership; including inspiring employees to deliver objectives and empowering them to be involved within the business. The standard distinguishes companies that are always looking at ways of increasing the capabilities of its work force and allowing people to realise their full potential – encouraging innovation and always focusing on the future.

Having shown our fantastic management skills and clear commitment to develop staff, we will now proudly wear this new a badge of honour.

We make sure staff are fully aware of what the company is all about, what we want to achieve and where their role fits into this. We give all of our staff full and thorough inductions and teach them what the objectives of UAP are.

Whilst in the job, the workforce is continuously monitored by their managers to ensure that all their skills are developed as necessary to carry out their duties and any additional training needed is provided.

Each department has a happy and productive team and we strive to progress each member of staff in their own relevant area – which in the end provides results for UAP!

We will continue to invest in people as they are the real asset we have.
