What sets the UAP fire rated door viewer apart is the revolutionary intumescent lining which prevents any risk of the fire spreading for up to 60 minutes.

How do they keep homeowners safe?  

The revolutionary intumescent lining, found in both the UAP fire rated letter plate and fire rated door viewer, has the unique ability to expand to 50 times its size, blocking any holes in the door hardware. This in turn reduces the amount of smoke that is able to seep through the cavity.

What’s more, the UAP fire rated letter plates also feature distinctive non-heat absorbing washers, preventing heat transfer from the screws to the plastic surrounding the metal fixings.
