UAP Enters the Smart Hardware Market

We’re excited to announce that we have made our debut into the electronic hardware market with the new Bluetooth Smart Door Handle from Intelligent Hardware. “Smart” door hardware is becoming more and more common in homes and public buildings across the world, with electronic security devices like the Ring Alexa-integrated doorbell camera by Amazon and the various swipe card or key fob entry systems on the market. These devices can add an extra layer of security through a variety of components, but things can easily become over complicated with too many unnecessary and superfluous design and utility features.
The Bluetooth Smart Door Handle brings the high-tech security of smart hardware but with the added benefit of simplicity; the handle appears as a normal stainless steel handle, but features four small numbered buttons (1, 2, 3, and 4). The handle pairs to an App on the user’s phone which can be used to manage the PIN codes, logging who has entered through the door and when, for added security.
One of the main features of the handle that contributes to its simplicity is that it’s keyless – there’s no more fumbling for misplaced keys, just PIN codes or the App. Visitors can be invited to access the door by themselves with temporary PINs. This detail is perfect for venues such as offices that should be kept private with no trespassers but have a high number of people entering and exiting throughout the day. Users can also log in and connect their Facebook to the handle for easy monitoring.
In terms of fitting and startup, the handle can fit every type of door between 30mm and 75mm thicknesses and has a simple installation process. It uses an ultra-low level of power, keeping itself running for a long time on just two CR2 lithium batteries, making it more eco-friendly than other power-guzzling alternatives.
