UAP have donated a large amount of PPE to a local mosque in Bury, where UAP Limited is based, to allow Eid prayers to commence in safety.

Eid al-Adha begins this year on July 31st, which is still within lockdown – furthermore, new lockdown restrictions were introduced on July 30th as local cases have started to rise. Lockdown has affected all of our lives in many ways, and religious gatherings are no exception. Due to this, Eid celebrators and those visiting mosques for prayers will need to wear PPE to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19.

UAP have donated essential adult and child sized face masks and a large supply of hand sanitizer to the mosque, allowing families to visit and pray safely.

This follows a series of other donations and social initiatives that UAP takes part in. We take giving back to the community very seriously, which we demonstrate though our  PPE donations to local hospices and our work with several charities, including MacMillan Cancer Support and CEO David Jenning’s donation to The Encephalitis Society.
