UAP’s Chief Financial Officer Nominated for Director of the Year

We are delighted to announce that UAP’s Chief Financial Officer, Bonnie Hodson, has been made a finalist in the North West & Isle of Man Director of the Year Awards 2020!

Bonnie is a Director at UAP having been appointed two years ago, and has played a very important role in the business’ growth over this time, alongside the rest of the senior leadership team. She has contributed greatly to the platform that UAP have for further international expansion.

The annual awards represent “the pinnacle of leadership and business excellence highlighting the significant contribution business leaders can make to society and the economic prosperity in our region” and looks for the region’s top business leaders from all sectors, from tech to hospitality.

Nominees can be placed in a wide variety of categories from public and third sector to family business and sustainability impact. These awards have been running for the last 15 years and are run by the IoD (Institute of Directors), the UK’s longest-running organisation for Directors from all sectors, so this really is a major achievement!

Bonnie looks after all aspects of our finances at UAP and our other brands, making sure everything is kept running smoothly. She also helps us out with our employee wellbeing scheme, ensuring that UAP subsidises the cost of the yoga classes and all the other events, activities and resources that we have started to provide for our staff.

In response to being nominated for Director of the Year, Bonnie has given the following statement: “I am honoured and delighted to be a nominated in this year’s Director of the Year awards. This couldn’t have been achieved without the support of the fantastic team at UAP. We have grown significantly over the past couple of years, acquiring two businesses in short succession, and establishing overseas entities. This has brought about its challenges, which we have successfully navigated to ensure we have a strong platform for growth.”
