What is the ‘Find a Locksmith’ App? 

The Tradelocks ‘Find a Locksmith’ app is another fresh and exciting feature to offer your customers. This unique concept allows the user to search and locate their nearest domestic, safe and auto locksmiths with ease and efficiency.

The all new locksmith app is promoted on the reverse side of the registration card, found on every UAP+, Kinetica and Tradelocks’ cylinder.

Available on both iPhone and Android formats, users of the app can simply search for the contact details, opening times and location of locksmiths within their local area.

Who are Tradelocks? 

Tradelocks is our locksmith tools brand, supplying an extensive range of locksmith products worldwide. Customers include local locksmith companies, trade counters, recovery companies (including both the AA and RAC), as well as a number of government agencies.

Unfortunately the UK is one of the only countries where locksmiths are not regulated. This means that anyone can call and trade as a locksmith, even if they have not completed a single training course!

With this in mind,  the app encourages your customers to contact established locksmith professionals whose skills have been assessed by our locksmith trainers, resulting in them being awarded the ‘Tradelocks Approved’ badge.  This badge will be visible to your customers on the app.

Should your customers have a problem with their doors or are unable to access their car or safe, as long as they select a ‘Tradelocks Approved’ locksmith from the app, they will have the peace of mind that the person turning up to solve the problem is a professional and established locksmith.

What’s more… On the rare occasion that the problem lies with one of our cylinders, so long as we receive  the report from a ‘Tradelocks Approved’ locksmith, we’ll be more than happy to cover the costs of getting the problem fixed by the locksmith.
