Locking Systems Celebrates One Year with UAP

This week, Gateshead-based masterkeying brand Locking Systems celebrated their first anniversary as part of the UAP Group. Locking Systems supplies locking cylinder solutions and a bespoke masterkeying service to locksmiths and architectural ironmongery companies throughout the UK. The brand was acquired by UAP at the start of 2020, shortly after Intelligent Hardware.

Our Year With Locking Systems

Locking Systems have since launched their MILOS 100 cylinder range, consisting of a wide range of cylinder types and sizes. In 2020, they also increased the number of new master key systems by 20% compared to 2019, made significant investment in a new automated key cutting machine, and hired a new apprentice in Lean Manufacturing.
