It's a Match

Fullex has released a new mini brochure featuring the SL16 Multibolt lock and the 68mm Gemini lever handle, along with the SL16 Replacement Centre Cases. These three products work together to create a reliable security solution for PVCu, composite, timber and aluminium doors.

The SL16 Multibolt lock has built a reputation for itself over time, having been widely and reliably used for over 17 years since its release. It is one of the most reliable and secure locks available on the market, performing to in excess of 9Kn in PAS 24 testing.

To aid its security, the SL16 features an inline split spindle, integral hold back latch function on the lock faceplate, and an easily reversible latch as standard. It is possible to have an additional single hook attached to the lock, and various security keep sets are available for purchase. The SL16 deadbolts are also chamfered to pull in smoothly and have a 20mm long throw for maximum security on any door type.

The SL16 Multibolt lock is PAS 24 compliant and Secured by Design approved.. In testing, it is cycle tested to 100,000 operations and is corrosion resistant up to 480 hours (BS EN 1670 Grade 5). For maximum security, it can be combined with the Kinetica 3 star BSI Kitemarked TS007 cylinder, also available from Fullex and UAP.

The Fullex Gemini front door handle is a 68mm handle made from 316-grade stainless steel and is designed to be used as a pair with the SL16 Multibolt lock and Type A Case locks. The handle and lock work together to create a reliable security solution for PVCu, composite, timber and aluminium doors. It has a 242mm long backplate and the tube shaped handle gives a very comfortable grip when operating, making it inclusive for those with limited dexterity. It has been salt spray tested to ASTM B117 for 2000 hours, and each handle comes with a lifetime coating guarantee. Gemini handles are available in a variety of finishes to match any door.

In the unlikely event that the SL16 Multipoint lock should eventually fail, the centre case can be easily replaced – this is the mechanism inside the door that is operated by the handle, and is most likely to be the problem when the lock fails due to its constant use. The replacement case can be attached to the old locking strip, which is much more cost effective and easier than replacing the whole multipoint lock. It is available for purchase in 35mm, 45mm and 55mm backset sizes. Please make sure to only replace parts with genuine Fullex replacement products – using fake Fullex products or alternative parts will compromise the security of the system as they are not made to the same standard as genuine Fullex parts.
