UAP Are G22 Award Finalists for Sustainability Initiative of the Year!

For the second year in a row, UAP are finalists at the G-Awards, this time in the Sustainability Initiative of the Year category. We’re also main event sponsors for the awards this year.

At last year’s G21 awards, we were winners in the Covid Business Hero category and finalists in two other categories. We won Covid Business Hero due to our quick response to the Coronavirus crisis, locking down our site, enabling work from home before the rest of the country locked down, and producing our own PPE which was later donated to local hospices and other businesses.

The G-Awards are the largest awards institution for the glass and glazing industry, running since 2004, and celebrating excellence in the industry. Speaking of 2021’s event, organiser Tony Higgin says: “This year was a tremendous success, especially having to miss out on 2020, so we have wasted no time in booking the hotel so we can do it all again next year”. The G22 Awards will be held on the 25th of November 2022 at the InterContinental London on Park Lane, London, hosted alongside a gala dinner.
