Fire Door Safety Week is Coming This Halloween

Rescheduled due to the Queen’s funeral coinciding with its original date, Fire Door Safety Week (FDSW) will now begin on Monday 31st of October until 4th November 2022. We show our support for FDSW every year to raise awareness for proper fire door maintenance and prevention of fires.

Safety Doesn’t Happen By Accident

FDSW aims to highlight key industry issues and provide a wealth of fire door information and guidance for free in the hopes of saving lives from preventable fires. They offer a Fire Door Safety Week Toolkit, offering tips, information and resources on how to improve fire safety in residential and commercial builds.

The organisation is managed by the British Woodworking Federation Group and supported by a number of partners, including the Home Office’s National Fire Safety campaign, the National Fire Chief’s Council, and London Fire Brigade.
