What is the Find a Locksmith app?

The redesigned Cars, Keys & Locks ‘Find a Locksmith’ app is another fresh and exciting feature to offer to your customers. This new online platform makes it easy for your customers to search and locate their nearest domestic, safe and auto locksmiths with ease and efficiency.

Cars, Keys and Locks is a technical journal sponsored by our leading locksmith tools brand, Tradelocks. The journal is published every two months and provides locksmiths with technical guides and top tips from experts in the industry.

Currently in the UK there are no regulations on the locksmith industry, meaning anyone can trade as a locksmith even if they have no relevant skills, experience or qualifications!

As one of the leading locksmith tool suppliers in the industry, Tradelocks have built up a database of highly skilled and expected locksmiths. Through the ‘Find a Locksmith’ App, users are encouraged to search and contact locksmiths who are recognised by Tradelocks and have been awarded the ‘Tradelocks Approved’ badge.

Tradelocks Approved members are locksmiths who have been personally vetted by a member of the Tradelocks team to ensure that they are professional and competent.

On each UAP cylinder is a key fob with details of the app. If your customers are locked out, they can simply download the app for free and search for their local locksmith. The app means your customer’s door can be fixed very quickly and with very little involvement from yourselves.

We are so confident about the quality of our cylinders, that if by any chance the problem lies with one of our cylinders, as long as we receive the report from a ‘Tradelocks Approved’ locksmith, we will be more than happy to cover the costs of getting the problem fixed.
