With Fullex Locks now on board, we are extremely excited to present their XL Lock, which has been designed specifically with security and reliability in mind.

This is a lock you can depend on to make a door as secure as possible and a property safe. It is both PAS24 tested and Secured by Design licensed, both which have been achieved because of the locks many security features.

Security you can be Sure of

The Fullex XL Lock incorporates 3 hardened steel hooks; the top and bottom hooks prevent the door from being separated from the frame in the event of an attack; the central hook prevents the door frame from being separated in the centre. The two hardened steel anti-lift bolts  stop the door from being lifted and the hooks from being disengaged. There is also the option of either 2 or 4 roller cams. These create compression, providing a seal between the door and the frame; they also create a much smoother operation.

There is also the facility to add Fullex high security shootbolts for added security (when the lock is extended) and this makes the XL French Door System fully capable of meeting PAS24 requirements.

For ultimate security, the XL Lock can be fitted with our Kinetica 3 star BSi Kitemarked cylinder. The cylinder has proven defence against lock picking and drilling. It incorporates a patented and unique anti-bump timing pin system which has the added advantage that it does not cause cylinder entrapment. The Kinetica also utilises the Fullex anti-tilt system and our axial movement defence system, which together with the inclusive sacrificial cut lines provide effective protection against lock snapping and plug extraction.

More Flexibility

Every XL PVC lock is extendable both at the top and the bottom for maximum flexibility. This means that with just this one lock a door fabricator has a multi point locking system that can be used on both single and french doors. Each XL Lock is shootbolt extendable, which means there is no need to stock 2 types of lock for different doors.

Dual, Single or Split Spindle Options

The XL Lock is also available in 3 different centre gearbox configurations, as Fullex have taken into consideration the fact that fabricators may sometimes be required to make shorter french doors when designing the locking system. Dual spindle uses a long backplate, a 92/92 or 92/62mm handle. They have a 92mm single spindle option and 92mm PZ split spindle options.

Other Features

An easily reversible latch has been used for additional flexibility and the 16mm mild steel faceplate offers corrosion resistance in excess of BSEN1670 Grade 4, giving peace of mind to hard pressed fabricators and consumers.
